DNA Summer Camp exists so that children who may not have access to a traditional summer camp experience can enjoy several weeks of fun-filled activities and have exposure to careers through partnerships.
How it started
Daily Needs Assistance (DNA) launched a summer lunch program to provide children with meals over the summer. As the summer begins, low-income families no longer have free and reduced lunches as a source of food for their children. Often, this forces families to make heavy sacrifices to feed their children and still have to go many nights without food.
